The Art Of Simplicity At Home With Camerich

I get a lot of interior press releases piling up in my inbox week on week and to be honest I immediately bin most of them on first glance, so it’s so refreshing when I’m introduced to an interior brand where I naturally connect with the aesthetic straight away. Camerich is one of those brands I’m so glad I’ve been introduced to. Their collections are all about smart, minimal design. Camerich’s mantra is purity of form made with quality materials that last and you’ll find that the pieces are trend led but with subtlety, giving them aesthetic longevity too.

Our move into our most recent flat sparked a lot of thinking about furniture as we essentially had the opportunity to start over. I quickly realised that customisable options were really important so you can get the right colour tone (in our case grey, of course) and feel to flow coherently with the rest of your home. Any upholstered furniture from Camerich comes in a huge range of colours and materials so you can take your pick so it slots perfectly into the room. Limitations aren’t fun when you’ve found the dream style you’re after but they don’t make it in the right colour for you!

I’ve picked out some of my favourite pieces and created three room-specific interior collages to give you a healthy dose of inspiration in how you could incorporate these pieces into your own home. Plus I got to have some styling fun myself which is always a bonus as there’s only so many rooms you can decorate in your own home.

A breath of fresh air in the living room

This look takes the Amor Sofa as a starting point for the room. It’s simple, chic shape works perfectly and in this lovely light grey, it provides the perfect neutral to build on. The dark wood of the Enzo Coffee Table and Stilts Storage Unit is so striking combined with the modernised mid-century inspired design. The grain and tone of the walnut inspired me to bring the outside in with deep greens picked out in the cushions, coasters and pot plants. Overall it transports me to a Nordic forest, fresh but still cosy enough to make a lovely living space

Soothe me with blush in the reading nook

The Noble Armchair immediately caught my eye and this colour just tops it off as the chair of dreams! Slightly reclined, I thought this would be a perfect reading chair, a place to unwind and calm yourself after a stressful day at work or a lazy space to soak in a good book or magazine at the weekend. The Lark Side Table makes the ideal pairing to nestle next to the chair and perch a steaming cup of tea or cheeky G & T for those summer evenings. I teamed both of those beauties with natural materials and fibres in muted tonal colours and I love the idea of a low pendant lamp for reading and hanging greenery for the ultimate sanctuary of calm.

Japanese simplicity to dine in

The Vessel Table and Ming Dining Chairs really do make quite a statement, free from frills and unnecessary details and more focused on silhouette. My mind immediately took me to Japan and the beautiful fuss-free simplicity you find in their interiors. I’ve softened this with the multi yarn, textured rug,  as well in the delicate shaped leaves of the plant and raw light woods. What a lovely space to have folks over and eat together, particularly with this lovely long table!

This post was sponsored by Camerich but all opinions and content are completely my own and I never feature brands I don’t feel passionately about myself.
