DIY Dried Flower Monogram

I’m a big fan of dried flowers in all areas of the home, not only because they look pretty but I also can’t kill them! I thought why not create some personalised decor for the kid’s bedroom, well at least for when they one day have their own room to decorate again. This is so simple and yet looks really effective, perfect as a gift too.

Materials:

  • Dried or pressed flowers
  • Embroidery hoop
  • Canvas
  • Fabric glue
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Card

Draw out your letter on card. Or you can print your letter using a font. Cut the shape out.

Draw around the letter onto the canvas.

Stretch the canvas over the embroidery hoop, making sure that the letter is central.

Start filling the letter with dried flowers, spacing the colours and textures as evenly as possible.

Trim and glue the excess fabric to the back of the embroidery hoop.
