Enchanted Fairy Party

Lars requested a fairy theme for his 4th Birthday party and so of course I obliged.I kept things pretty low effort on my part because that’s the only way I do kid’s parties these days. My mum made the amazing cake and the little cupcakes. All the other food was bought and I spruced up the shortbread with a simple layer of white icing and added some edible pressed flowers I had in my stash. I picked the area of our garden with maximum leaf coverage as the backdrop and twisted in some battery operated fairy lights from our Christmas box. The bunting was made from a linen sample book I had, cut and sown onto the twine. Raw edges just add to the look or at least that was my attitude. I used some old books and vases of flowers for styling, grabbed from around our house. My friend made the amazing giant, paper flowers which blew my mind. She takes on custom orders at Epic Petals. As for the mushroom name holders, those were a little DIY idea of mine and you can find how to make them here. Shop the materials here.
