It’s fair to say our upstairs hallway needed some TLCand to be honest it didn’t even need much to elevate the space. I started with a tidy up and then moved on to painting the bookcase to brighten up the area. I added some wall decoration, some foliage and a nice big rug to cover up some of the ugly carpet.
One of the additions to the wall was this faux vintage sconce. I managed to find a cheap but ugly base from Vinted and thought it could be given a new lease of life with clay. I’m so happy with the outcome so here’s the steps you can follow to achieve the look.
